Saving me for Sundays

All I require
at the end of some hours
is a good Christian girl
to bring me into her fold;
Teach me the ways
she loves her Lord.
That’s all.
Is it too much to ask
of them?
For most, they seem
to say so—
but a few merciful gals
have led me on to believe
that a good Christian girl
might be all I really need.
