EDUCATION

You can’t go to school
to learn how to confuse
a bloated, blood-smeared tampon
in an abandoned parking lot—
for a tiny white mouse,
who was stomped upon.
But you can go to school
and learn an appreciation
for those who confuse
such marvels
of the natural world.
