TITLES THAT DO NOT SUCK

She brags to her friends
about me, her boyfriend.
She tells them I’m a writer
of titles that do not suck.

Of course, I think I am
so much more than just
titles that do not suck.

There is the body too.
But I suppose there,
we’re easily distracted.

Still, it would be nice
if this effort I make
beyond titles
was ever really
appreciated.
