“JUST THIS”

I want a woman I can point
and laugh with
while the avalanche breaks loose,
saturnine skylines swell,
the twisting tornado twirls hello,
and horizon lines fall down
to murder us all.
I want a woman I can kiss
in my last second
of existence.
If I may have just this
from this one woman,
I promise her
I will not regret
one moment of
our
agony together.
