“SWALLOW GOD, SPIT POLITICS”

Swallow god, spit politics,
and digest all the rest.

People without reason
will always probe until they
notice our time is short,
undetermined, and better
spent believing in what we are
already all too certain of.

Some find it in a bottle;
Others in a chalice.
No matter where you find it,
mind the backwash
of the people who
pass it on to you.

Swallow god.
Spit politics.
Beware the bias.
Truth is impartial;
unflinchingly fair,
and often confused
as unconditional love.
