Random Pixel Generator

In late 2008 – early 2009, I created a web project. The Random Pixel Generator. Going through every combination of colors in a set pixel dimension, every image capable of being generated will be created. It’s a bit of a “God” program, visually speaking. Even at a relatively small dimension of 320 pixels wide X 240 pixels high, using 256 colors, there are more image possibilities than there are atoms in the universe. 256^76,800. This is an on-going project as time/interest allows. I have since created a program that systematically creates images, discarding the notion of randomness. Read more and interact here: Pixel Monkeys.
